Biography

Lien Tran began her career as a nursing assistant then became a Registered Nurse at a trauma center in the medical surgical unit for 9 years. She was also a clinical nurse instructor at a local community college. She graduated from UCSF with a Master of Science in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2018. She went on to complete a Critical Care and Surgical NP Fellowship at UCSF. She currently works in General Surgery. Her professional interests include patient education and mentorship. A few of her personal interests include traveling, fashion, spirituality + wellness, cycling and hiking.
